Katachi has been named a finalist in the "Outstanding Hairdesser" category of the Commonwealth Bank Local Hunter Business Awards again in 2009.
We were proud to be included in the small line-up of top quality salons named as finalists and are looking forward to competing again in 2010 !

Katachi Hair Design is challenging local residents and workers to be brave and shave for the Leukaemia Foundations Worlds Greatest Shave to be held on the 13-15th March 2008.
This is the second year that our salon has been a proud supporter & official public venue of the Worlds Greatest Shave, and we are encouraging everyone to join in by shaving or colouring their hair for a donation.

Lorn Hair Nail & Beauty has a new name, Katachi Hair Design.We are excited about this latest in a long line of changes introduced since taking over the salon in December 2006.
We have been feeling that old name was functional but boring, so it's out with the old and in with the new!
It's a major step to change the name of an established business and it will take some time for the Katachi Hair Design name to become reasonably well known in the community, we feel that the change will be worthwhile though and will bring greater benefits in the future.

We are very excited about this important change in such a critical area of our salon, Paul Mitchell systems are a US company, hugely respected in the industry worldwide.
